This book leads people to discover the righteousness of God in the true gospel of the Water and the Spirit. Modern Christians always study the Bible, listen to the Word, pray more fervently than anyone, show their devotion by offering their material possessions, and strive to erase their sins through prayers of repentance. However, they lack assurance of faith before God regarding how to eternally remove the fundamental sin they were born with, how to be born again, and how to receive the Holy Spirit. It is time to leave behind Christian doctrines, which are stained with human thoughts, return to the Bible, and accept the Word God has spoken to us with the heart of a child. According to the Law given by God, there is no one without sin. Since we are born with sin as descendants of Adam, we must acknowledge that we are fundamentally sinners destined for hell, even if we do not commit sins through our actions. And we must have all the sins of our hearts removed through faith in the fact that Jesus, who is God, personally received baptism from John in the flesh, took upon Himself all the sins of the world, died on the cross as the price for our sins, and resurrected from the dead. Today, I would like to introduce a book review from a reader who, through Pastor Paul C. Jong’s first book, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition]” , re-examined their mistaken beliefs, came to believe correctly in the Word of the Bible, and obtained complete freedom in their heart from sin and condemnation. Before the punishment of the Cross that Jesus received for our sins, we must correctly know and believe that there was indeed the baptism He received from John the Baptist in order to take upon Himself our sins. Only by believing this fact can all the problems of sin in our hearts be truly resolved. To believe in Jesus’ baptism (water), the Cross (blood), and resurrection in this way is to believe in the “gospel of the water and the Spirit,” and only by faith in this gospel of truth can we receive perfect cleansing from sin.
