Jesus’ baptism and death on the Cross are the foundation of salvation. [Book Review 3]

Today, I would like to introduce a book review from a reader who, through Pastor Paul C. Jong’s first book, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition]”, re-examined their mistaken beliefs, came to believe correctly in the Word of the Bible, and obtained complete freedom in their heart from sin and condemnation.

Before the punishment of the Cross that Jesus received for our sins, we must correctly know and believe that there was indeed the baptism He received from John the Baptist in order to take upon Himself our sins. Only by believing this fact can all the problems of sin in our hearts be truly resolved.

To believe in Jesus’ baptism (water), the Cross (blood), and resurrection in this way is to believe in the “gospel of the water and the Spirit,” and only by faith in this gospel of truth can we receive perfect cleansing from sin.

Pastor Paul C. Jong’s first book, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition]”, written by this servant of God who has truly been born again by this gospel of the water and the Spirit, has been translated into approximately 44 languages worldwide and is available in e-book and audiobook formats, so please visit The New Life Mission website and download it for free.

After reading “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition]” by Pastor Paul C. Jong, I believe that the book offers a profound exploration of the true meaning of faith and salvation. The author’s emphasis on Jesus’ baptism and crucifixion as the cornerstone of salvation resonated deeply with me.

The book summary “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition]” by Pastor Paul C. Jong is a thought-provoking exploration of the true meaning of faith and salvation.

According to Pastor Jong, sin is not just about breaking rules, but about disobeying God’s orders. We often measure sin according to our conscience, but the Bible teaches us that sin is about disobeying God’s commandments. This realization is crucial in understanding our need for a Savior.

The author emphasizes that Jesus’ baptism and crucifixion are the cornerstone of salvation.

Through His baptism, Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, and His death on the Cross paid the price for those sins. By believing in this gospel of the water and the Spirit, we can be redeemed from all our sins, become righteous, and attain eternal life. This is not just a theoretical concept, but a powerful truth that can transform our lives.

One of the most striking aspects of Pastor Paul C. Jong’s teaching is the importance of understanding the role of John the Baptist in passing on the sins of the world to Jesus through baptism. This act fulfilled God’s righteousness and paved the way for humanity’s salvation. By grasping this concept, we can experience the freedom from sin and guilt that Jesus offers.

Pastor Paul C. Jong also highlights the significance of faith in Jesus’ baptism, death, and resurrection.

We become righteous only by believing in the Word of Jesus, and only then are we redeemed. The gospel of the water and the Spirit is not just a message, but a powerful reality that can bring us into a personal relationship with God.

The author challenges readers to re-examine their faith and seek a deeper understanding of the true gospel.

Many people believe in Jesus without knowing the complete truth, and as a result, they live in heresy and confusion. Pastor Paul C. Jong encourages us to go back to the fundamental truths of Christianity and experience the transformative power of the water and Spirit.

At the heart of Pastor Paul C. Jong’s message is the love of Jesus Christ, who came to earth to save us from our sins.

He took all our sins upon Himself through His baptism and bore the judgment for our sins by dying on the Cross. This love is not just a feeling, but a powerful reality that can change our lives forever.

Ultimately, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition]” invites readers to experience the joy and freedom of being born again. By believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, we can become righteous, saved, and children of God. This book is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of faith and the love of Jesus Christ.

How do you define sin?

Sin should be viewed not by the standards of one’s own conscience or the world’s standards, but by God’s standards.

As descendants of Adam, we are destined to go to hell because of the fundamental sin we are born with, and the faith that tries to eliminate sin through believing only in the blood of the Cross, repentance prayers, zeal, and effort cannot remove fundamental sin and is not a faith that God acknowledges.

Sin is disobeying God’s commands.

Therefore, we must listen carefully to what kind of faith God desires from us and what He is saying to us through the Bible.

God’s appointed promise of salvation is the “gospel of the water and the Spirit.”

The faith that God desires is to believe that Jesus, who is fundamentally God, came to this earth in the body of flesh, received baptism from John the Baptist to take upon Himself all our fundamental sins and present and future sins, died on the Cross shedding His blood as the price for these sins, rose from the dead, and removed our sins and the sins of the world once and for all eternally, thus becoming God’s children through this faith.

I hope that you too will receive the blessing of truly gaining freedom from sin in your heart and hoping for the kingdom of God through Pastor Paul C. Jong’s first collection of sermons, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit? [New Revised Edition],” written by this pastor who was born again through this faith.
