I Have Realized God's Purpose for Giving Me the Law [Christian Testimony 48]

 

My life of faith became difficult due to the sins that tormented me. Eventually, I fell into the trap of religion and became worse than when I started. In the end, no religious argument could restore me.

After reading the first book, “Have you truly been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?”, among the many sermon books by Pastor Paul C. Jong, a servant of God from The New Life Mission, my soul overflowed with joy like a spring of water.

I was a model Christian in a famous evangelical church in my country, striving to adhere to theological doctrines based on the commandments of God.

I excelled in many areas such as repentance prayers, repeated fasting, utilizing the gift of language interpretation, and teaching, and through these efforts and works, I tried to gain recognition from people and God. 

However, I came to despise those who were not like me, especially as time passed, and my life of faith became difficult due to the sins that tormented me.

Eventually, I fell into the trap of religion and became worse than when I started. In the end, no religious argument could restore me.

But then, after reading Pastor Paul C. Jong's first book “Have you truly been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?” which I ordered for free from The New Life Mission website, I was shocked by the simplicity of the gospel presented in the book. It felt so easy that I was afraid.

What was I afraid of? I was afraid of losing my own righteousness that I had built up with all my might until now.

However, I began to deeply consider everything Pastor Paul C. Jong said in the book according to the Scripture.

While reading the book, I realized that I was the worst sinner, like a pig finding pleasure in filth, who could only commit sin from birth until death.

As I read the book, I came to understand the true purpose of the Law of Moses that had troubled me so much.

I had misunderstood the law, which should have been a mirror to realize sin, and tried to cure sin by keeping the law. Whenever I sinned, I only knew and believed in Jesus being God and His blood on the cross, and whenever I confessed my sins, I only held onto the blood of the cross. It was like a painkiller or temporary sedative. However, once the feeling of being forgiven passed, the pain of sin started again.

Now, I believe that Jesus is God and His baptism and the blood of the cross, all of these, as the law of my salvation, and regardless of my weakness, I am without sin.

According to the Old Testament law of sacrifice involving unblemished offerings, laying on of hands, and the shedding of blood, Pastor Paul C. Jong showed me the mystery of the remission of sins according to the Word.

I thank God a thousand, ten thousand times for using His humble servant Pastor Paul C. Jong to deliver the gospel to me.

When Jesus Christ, who came as the unblemished Lamb, received baptism - like the laying on of hands - from John the Baptist, the last High Priest, at the Jordan River, He personally took on all our past, present and future sins. And when I came to understand and believe that He was judged for these sins on the cross, shed His blood, died, and was resurrected after three days, my heart was filled with immeasurable joy and great love for God.

From that moment on, I developed a strong desire to share this gospel of the elimination of sin through true water (baptism) and blood that completely washes away and completely heals from sin with everyone.

I hope that you too will receive eternal salvation once and for all by believing fully in Jesus' baptism and the blood of the cross, which is God's plan of salvation.

This is because the gospel of water and the Spirit has given meaning to my life. The problem of mankind lies in sin. It is also problematic that Christians remain in sin. However, Pastor Paul C.   The "baptism" that Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist was the only way Christ took upon Himself all our sins. Through the baptism from John the Baptist, who was a high priest according to the order of Aaron, He took on the sins of the world, and afterward paid the price for all these sins by shedding His blood on the cross.
