The Bible says that when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, all our sins were transferred to Jesus. John the Baptist was both the representative of all humanity and a descendant of Aaron the high priest. On the Day of Atonement, Aaron laid his hands on the head of the scapegoat to transfer all of Israel’s sins for the entire year to the sacrificial animal. The sacrificial Law of the Old Testament is a shadow of good things to come (Hebrews 10:1). The baptism that Jesus received is the antitype of the laying on of hands in the Old Testament.

This is because the gospel of water and the Spirit has given meaning to my life. The problem of mankind lies in sin. It is also problematic that Christians remain in sin. However, Pastor Paul C.
