Are you still living in sin because of wrong beliefs? [Christian Testimony 8]

 

The faith of the righteous is believing that when we confess our sins, even these sins were already taken by Christ 2000 years ago through His baptism, and He paid the price for them by shedding His blood on the cross.

The "baptism" that Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist was the only way Christ took upon Himself all our sins.

Through the baptism from John the Baptist, who was a high priest according to the order of Aaron, He took on the sins of the world, and afterward paid the price for all these sins by shedding His blood on the cross. The cross is actually the result of Jesus Christ taking our sins through baptism.


If Jesus had not been baptized, His death would have been meaningless.

Now I am righteous and sinless through faith in the gospel of water and the Spirit.


And the resolution for future sins can be achieved by acknowledging my sins and through God’s righteous law of salvation.

In the past, before I encountered the gospel of water and the Spirit, even though I believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, sin still remained in my heart.

This was because I believed in the wrong way. That is, I believed in Him while omitting His baptism. Because Jesus’ baptism was missing from my faith, I always had a sense of sin. Therefore, my faith was wrong.


In the past, I just believed only in the blood of the cross.

This naturally kept me remaining as a sinner. But now it’s different. Through the gospel of water and the Spirit, I came to believe in Jesus in the most correct way. That is, I came to believe that all my sins were transferred to Him when Jesus was baptized, and He paid the price for those sins on the cross.


Today, I have become righteous and sinless forever.

I thank the Lord Jesus Christ who allowed me to encounter His beautiful gospel of water and the Spirit, which was preached through the servants of The New Life Mission. Through this, I came to know that Jesus eliminated all my sins — past, present, and future.

Which Came First: Faith in God's Righteousness or the Law? [Bible Study 2]

  Before giving the Law, God first gave the righteousness of faith to become children of God through faith.  As recorded in Genesis, Adam and Eve, Abel, Seth and Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his descendants were justified by faith in God’s Word without the Law. This is because the gospel of water and the Spirit has given meaning to my life. The problem of mankind lies in sin. It is also problematic that Christians remain in sin. However, Pastor Paul C.
