Salvation from sin is not achieved by individual effort but through Jesus' salvation [Christian Testimony 37]

 

We receive salvation from sin by believing in Jesus’ water (washing away all sins of the world through His baptism), blood (dying as the price for the sins He took through baptism), and the Spirit (Jesus being fundamentally God).

I have read more than 13 books from the sermon series by Rev. Paul C. Jong, the servant of God at The New Life Mission. I have been reading these books for over 8 months. Through the sermons delivered by Rev. Jong, I fully understand the Gospel of the water and the Spirit.

These books have brought light into my dark world, helping me understand why Jesus was baptized to bear our sins, was crucified as a sacrificial Lamb, and rose again.

This Truth of the water and the Spirit, which saved us from all sins, needs to reach the billions of Christians who claim to be Christians but still think they have to work their own way to earn the forgiveness of sins.

Which Came First: Faith in God's Righteousness or the Law? [Bible Study 2]

  Before giving the Law, God first gave the righteousness of faith to become children of God through faith.  As recorded in Genesis, Adam and Eve, Abel, Seth and Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his descendants were justified by faith in God’s Word without the Law.   Thank you, Pastor. Speaking of my testimony on this Christian blog , I can say that I am living a fulfilled life today. This is because the gospel of water and the Spirit has given meaning to my life. The problem of mankind lies in sin. It is also problematic that Christians remain in sin. However, Pastor Paul C. Jong’s teachings completely liberate us from the burden of sin. Faith based only on Jesus’ blood on the cross is a burden that false pastors impose to keep us in bondage for life, and this is truly a serious problem today. Are you still living in sin because of wrong beliefs? [Christian Testimony 8]

  The "baptism" that Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist was the only way Christ took upon Himself all our sins. Through the baptism from John the Baptist, who was a high priest according to the order of Aaron, He took on the sins of the world, and afterward paid the price for all these sins by shedding His blood on the cross. The cross is actually the result of Jesus Christ taking our sins through baptism. If Jesus had not been baptized, His death would have been meaningless.
