Salvation from sin is not achieved by individual effort but through Jesus' salvation [Christian Testimony 37]

 

We receive salvation from sin by believing in Jesus’ water (washing away all sins of the world through His baptism), blood (dying as the price for the sins He took through baptism), and the Spirit (Jesus being fundamentally God).

I have read more than 13 books from the sermon series by Rev. Paul C. Jong, the servant of God at The New Life Mission. I have been reading these books for over 8 months. Through the sermons delivered by Rev. Jong, I fully understand the Gospel of the water and the Spirit.

These books have brought light into my dark world, helping me understand why Jesus was baptized to bear our sins, was crucified as a sacrificial Lamb, and rose again.

This Truth of the water and the Spirit, which saved us from all sins, needs to reach the billions of Christians who claim to be Christians but still think they have to work their own way to earn the forgiveness of sins.

Until now, I did not know the exact reason why Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. [Christian Testimony 5]

  I was freed from legalistic faith and the doctrine of gradual repentance prayer, and received salvation. I am infinitely grateful for the knowledge I received through Pastor Paul C. Jong's book, "Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?" Volume 1, about John the Baptist's role and ministry for human salvation. We Are Always Nothing but Evil, and Those Who Try to Be Saved by Their Own Works Remain Sinners [Christian Sermon 24]

Being a sinless righteous person before God — that is, being saved and becoming a child of God — is literally a gift from God. But what about you? Although I Cannot Help But Sin, the Lord Has Eternally Cleansed Me with Water, Blood, and the Spirit. [Christian Testimony 6]

I wholeheartedly believe in the gospel of water and the Spirit. I believe in Jesus' baptism where John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan River, in the same way as the laying on of hands in the Old Testament. Through this, the Lord has cleanly washed away all my original sin and personal sins, all my past, present, and future sins. I also believe in His death on the cross.
