The Faith That God Wants from Us

The following is a testimony of a righteous person who understood and believed in the gospel of water and the Spirit through God’s servant Pastor Paul C. Jong’s sermon series Book 1, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?”

The faith that God wants from us is for you to receive removal of all your sins — past, present, and future — through Jesus Christ’s ministry of salvation.

Jesus, who is fundamentally God, had to come to this earth in human flesh in the lowest and most humble form to save you and me from all sins. This is despite the fact that we are the most evil and wicked beings among God’s creation.

We challenge God with our thoughts and ways of life, commit blasphemy, murder, and participate in unrighteous acts. As a result, since ‘the wages of sin is death’, the end of all these things is eternal punishment in hell fire.

Nevertheless, the Lord loved us with an eternal love, and for us who cannot save ourselves, God, on His part, planned to save us sinners from sin and accomplished that salvation through water, blood, and the Spirit.

To accomplish our redemption, the Lord had to be baptized through laying on of hands by John the Baptist, whom He designated as ‘the greatest among those born of women,’ that is, the representative of humanity.


This was the most appropriate method to transfer our sins to Him.

Matthew 3:15 states, “For thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.”

“For thus” means through John the Baptist baptizing Jesus and Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist. In this way, the Lord became the Lamb of God who bore all the sins of humanity.

For thus, as all the sins of every sinner in this world were transferred to Jesus, those who believe in this fact are born again as God’s holy children without sin, and for thus God’s righteousness has been fulfilled.

After bearing our sins through baptism, Jesus had to shed His blood on the cross to receive the condemnation we deserved. Afterward, Jesus rose from death and eternally justified all who believe in this truth and gave them eternal life.


This is the blessing of salvation that God planned and accomplished because He loved us.

I believe in the blessing of salvation that Jesus accomplished through the truth of water, blood, and the Spirit.

I give infinite thanks and praise to the Lord.

This is because the gospel of water and the Spirit has given meaning to my life. The problem of mankind lies in sin. It is also problematic that Christians remain in sin. However, Pastor Paul C.
