he following is a testimony from a believer who read Book 1 of Pastor Paul C. Jong’s book series written for Christians, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?” from The New Life Mission website.


Q1: What is your understanding of the baptism of Jesus and His death on the Cross?

Jesus’ baptism is like the laying on of hands in the New Testament. It is the baptism through which our sins were transferred. His death on the cross symbolizes the sacrifice for sin and paid the price for our sins.


Q2: Do you have sin?

I was born as a fundamental sinner and had sin. And due to my weakness and insufficiency, I commit sins throughout my life from birth until death. However, because I have been made righteous by believing in the gospel of Jesus’ water, blood, and the Spirit, I can never be a sinner again. This is because Jesus has already eliminated all the sins I commit throughout my life through water, blood, and the Spirit.


Q3: How do you resolve the issue of future sins?

I resolve it by believing that Jesus bore all the sins of this world through His baptism, which is the antitype of salvation, and eliminated all those sins through His death on the cross.


Q4: Did you have sins before believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit? If you did, what was the reason why you had sin in your heart even though you believed in Jesus Christ?

Yes, I believed in Jesus but had sin in my heart. This was because I didn’t believe in the redemption of Jesus’ baptism. Just as it would be unlawful in the Old Testament sacrificial system not to lay hands on the sacrifice, salvation is incomplete without Jesus’ baptism.


Q5: Please explain how your faith now is different from the faith you had before hearing the gospel of the water and the Spirit preached by The New Life Mission.

My faith today is different from my faith before reading Pastor Paul C. Jong’s Christian book “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?” This is because now my salvation has been made complete through believing in all three elements: Jesus’ baptism accomplished by God’s love, the blood of the cross, and the Holy Spirit. I have come to know and believe precisely that the Lord has already washed away all my past, present, and future sins.


Q6: Do you have anything else to add?

I am truly grateful to everyone at The New Life Mission for translating the gospel of water and the Spirit into languages worldwide and making it available for free download. Through Pastor Paul C. Jong’s sermon book “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?”, God opened my spiritually blind eyes and transformed my life. I thank all of you.
