My Testimony of Salvation in the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit



Dear brother in Christ,

May the peace of the Lord be with you!

With great gratitude and joy, I want to share what God has done in my life through the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit.

For many years, I lived a confused faith. I went to church, prayed, fasted, and even preached, but there was always a void within me. I believed that Jesus died on the Cross for my sins, yet I still felt dirty, guilty, and insecure. When I sinned, I thought God had turned away from me, and I would spend days asking for forgiveness and trying to “feel” saved again. It was an endless cycle of guilt and repentance, without true peace.

But everything changed when I came across Pastor Paul C. Jong’s book, “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?”

As I read it, something inside me broke. For the first time, I understood that Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River was not a mere ritual, but the very moment when He took upon Himself all the sins of humanity — including mine. That act was the real transfer of the sins of the world onto the body of the Lamb of God. And on the Cross, He bore the punishment that I deserved.

At that moment, the gospel became alive to me.

I realized that the water represents the baptism of Jesus, where my sins were passed on to Him; the blood represents the judgment on the Cross, where He paid the price; and the Holy Spirit confirms my new life.

Now I know — with full conviction — that I am righteous before God, not because of my works, but because all my sins have been washed away once and for all.

Today I have true peace, rest, and joy in my heart.

I no longer carry the burden of trying to be saved every day.

I have been freed from the deception of worldly Christianity that talks about Jesus but ignores His baptism. Now I serve the Lord with understanding and gratitude, and the desire of my heart is that many in Brazil may also come to know this glorious truth.

I want to take part in this work, helping to evangelize and spread the true gospel of the water and the Spirit.

If possible, I would like to receive more copies of the book “Have You Truly Been Born Again of Water and the Spirit?” to share with other people who still live in the darkness of doubt and human religion.

I sincerely thank you for the fellowship we have in Christ and for your patience in guiding me in this new and living way.

Faith in the “baptism,” that is, the “water,” which Jesus received before He was crucified in order to bear the sins of mankind, is an essential truth of salvation that can never be omitted.

However, many people distort the meaning of baptism, or they leave out the “water” of baptism and believe only in the “blood” of the Cross — thus failing to resolve their sins, remaining trapped in confusion.

Jesus came into this world in the flesh and personally received baptism from John the Baptist to take upon Himself all the sins of humankind at once.

As the price for those sins, He shed His blood on the Cross in our place, bore the judgment, and through His resurrection, He washed away all our sins, making them white as snow and clean, and gave us eternal life.

Isaiah 1:18

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord,

“Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”

We give thanks for the great love of Jesus, who has enabled us to be eternally delivered from sin and to have the hope of Heaven, not by being saved through correcting our conduct, doing good deeds, and keeping the Law, but only by believing in the gospel of the water and the blood and the Spirit that Jesus fulfilled.

Romans 8:1‑2

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
